The Brimbank Bicycle Education Centre was formerly known as Green Gully Traffic Safety Centre. Originally developed as a joint project between the St Albans Rotary Club (now Brimbank Central) and the Keilor Council (now Brimbank Council) it was opened on 24th June 1993.
It is a popular and very affordable venue for children’s Birthday Parties and other family and group functions, To obtain an information pack about hiring the facility contact us via email or visit the Contact Us page and send your details to us.
We also run Bicycle and Community Education Excursion Programs, Learn to Ride Programs and we cater for those with Special Needs. To obtain information about these programs contact us via email or visit the Contact Us page and send your details to us.
The Brimbank Bicycle Education Centre managed by a team of very dedicated volunteers who have overseen major renovations and improvements since taking over management of the centre in August 2015. Income from hire fees is re-invested in the centre ensuring it remains a high quality venue, able to be used by all the community. We are currently building 2 new training tracks, a Skills Riding and a Balance Bike Track for use for our School and Learn to Ride Programs. This project is costing around $50,000.
